  The staff is snobby, the wait is awful, and there is NOTHING good about the emergency department. The general hospital itself is usually good, but I've never seen such a rude ER!

  Brought my daughter in on 12-15 after injury playing school sports. My insurance paid all but $125. The school system gave me the paperwork to file with their secondary sports injury insurance. I contacted the hospital to let them know it would be paid by secondary insurance. The school system gave me last year's insurance company paperwork instead of current, so I had to refile once the mistake was discovered. Again, I contacted the hospital and asked them to make note of the delay on my account. I was notified on March 13 that the secondary insurance paid the $125. I was notified on March 27 that the hospital turned me over to a collection agency. I am LIVID!!!!!! I have always paid my bills on time and I notified the hospital TWICE and they turned me over to collections 2 WEEKS AFTER IT HAD BEEN PAID. I am going up there HOT tomorrow with my paperwork and SOMEONE is going to be making the situation RIGHT!!! Oh.....and I will NOT go back to this hospital which is unfortunate because I have used them for the past 20 years.....both of my babies were born there 18 and 14 years ago.
